A Substandard China

On the ideal dimension of my sane mind, what I want to happen to China is to be eaten by its own greed. It’s insane but it’s possible. On my mind.

Let’s look at the map of modern China:

It has five autonomous regions (ARs) namely:

  1. Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region
  2. Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
  3. Tibet Autonomous Region
  4. Ningxia Hiu Autonomous Region
  5. Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

Giving credit to history, all these ARs are not originally part of China. Due to conquests, all of these ARs were subjected under the rule of the Dynasty. China says it hates colonization. Liar. There are many Han Chinese residing in this ARs. China is one of the world’s first civilizations so expect that there would be many Chinese-looking people around China. But that doesn’t mean they are automatically Chinese citizens. Also, there are many ethnic people around China that’s why there are so many versions of the Chinese language. These ethnic people are not automatically considered Chinese citizens too even if they speak and look Chinese. Get my point? Not all China-like belongs to China–be it people, language, culture or territory.

What if one day, all of these ARs demand independence from China. That’s one big headache for this “Communist” state.

Moving on, there are separatist groups in every ARs in China. There are also separatist groups in China’s Hainan province. Hainan, according to our friend History, is again not part of China before. We also have Taiwan that China can’t let go.

What if one day, all the separatist groups in China united, to once and for all, stop China’s imperialism. Let’s include Taiwan, what if one day, Taiwan waged war against China?

Moving on again, China has territorial disputes with almost all of its neighboring countries. The following are countries with territorial disputes with China:

  1. India
  2. Pakistan
  3. North Korea
  4. Bhutan
  5. Taiwan
  6. South Korea
  7. Vietnam
  8. Philippines
  9. Japan
  10. Brunei
  11. Malaysia
  12. Mongolia

What if one day, all these countries unite and waged a war against China. That would mean World War III! But counting China’s allies, they would totally be defeated amid its military prowess.

What if? What if?

Kaming Walang Lihim

Sana sa bungad ng iyong paningin

Ako’y makita mong lumuluha ng Itim

Ibinubuhos ko na ang lahat ng pait

Dinadala sa palad lahat ng sakit.

Sasapit na naman ang Ating dilim

Naghihintay ako sa iyong pagdating

Umaasa ako sa iyong halinghing

Isisigaw ang oda, “Mamamatay ka rin!”
