Camouflage

I am not descriptive when it comes to poetry
I cannot explain the similarity
Between love and my salary
Or love and the nearby cemetery.

If it’s true that my love is like my salary,
Then it is true that I am living in poverty.
If it’s true that my love is like the nearby cemetery,
Then it is true that I’m not qualified for eternity.

To cite similarities between love and an entity
Is to expose myself to extreme stupidity:
It’s either I face an entity’s reality
Or turn my back from love’s animosity.
